Call for Abstracts:
The Illinois Society for Cardiopulmonary Health and Rehabilitation invites students and early-career professionals to submit scientific abstracts for presentation at the 35th Annual Educational Conference on March 13th, 2025 at Lewis University in Romeoville, IL.
Poster Presentation:
Accepted authors will be invited to present a printed research poster at the conference and will be expected to discuss their work and answer attendee questions during dedicated poster viewing sessions. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase research and engage with professionals in cardiopulmonary health and rehabilitation.
Abstract Categories:
Scientific abstracts may be submitted under the following topic area:
• Cardiovascular Rehabilitation & Clinical Cardiology
• Pulmonary Rehabilitation & Medicine
• Behavior Change and Psychosocial Interventions
• Nutrition
• Physical Activity/Exercise
Formatting Your Submission:
Abstracts must follow the structure and limits below. Submissions exceeding 475 words, or containing figures, tables, graphics will not be reviewed. Each abstract must be endorsed by a faculty member or senior professional listed as a co-author.
Required Structure:
Include the following clearly labeled sections in this order: Title, Authors (with university email addresses), Introduction, Purpose, Design, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Each section should be concise — describe your study’s rationale, aims, design, main methods (including key statistics), results, and conclusions supported by the data.

▪ March 13-14th, 2026–ISCHR Conference
